Numberblocks follows the adventures of anthropomorphic block characters in Number Land, with the number of blocks determining which numeral they stand for and a tiny black floating number above them to show how many blocks they are made of, which they call a numberling. When one of the blocks hops on top of another, they transform into a different character to * make a new number. The show helps not only toddlers and young kids, but also many teens and adults learn numeracy skills, especially how to count and do math.
Characters

Zero/0: A ghost-like character with no blocks, and only his mouth and Numberling, which also doubles up as his one oval-shaped eye.
One/1: A single red block who is the main protagonist of the show and is voiced by Beth Chalmers. She only has one eye, both unlike most other Numberblocks and like Zero. She is sweet, fun-loving, curious, bubbly, friendly, and clever. Sometimes she feels self-conscious about only being a single block. She also loves finding things that there are one of. She appears in all episodes, except Building Blocks.
Two/2: A pair of orange blocks. He wears purple glasses, and, starting from his eponymous episode onwards, he wears two white socks and two sparkling orange shoes. He is very kind and smart, and is One's best friend who loves helping her make pairs, like shoes and socks. He also appears in all episodes, except One and Building Blocks.
Three/3: A yorkshire-accented tower of three yellow blocks and is voiced by Beth Chalmers. She resembles a cross between a jester and a clown, wearing a crown with three points, and three red balls down her torso. She is happy-go-lucky, and loves to entertain and juggle. Her catchphrase is "Look at me!".
Four/4: Four green blocks, usually oriented in a 2 × 2 square, but also either sometimes tetrominoes from Tetris games or at other times four blocks high with a Scottish accent. He has square-shaped eyes, square-shaped eyebrows, and an upper-overbite. He is friendly, happy-go-lucky, sweet, bubbly, kind-hearted, and friendly. He loves being a square and finding things which are square.
Five/5: An Irish-accented tower of five aqua/light blue blocks. She wears a big glove with five fingers, and has a star around her right eye. She is sweet, bubbly, and friendly, and loves reading and guiding the other Numberblocks on adventures, games, and many other things. She can also transform in to an L or T shape, or sometimes pentominoes from some Tetris games. She also once formed a band in both her eponymous episode and in Once Upon A Time's A Star Turn.
Six/6: Six indigo/dark purple blocks with tropical indigo spot each, and a Yorkshire accent. She has three eyelashes on each eye. When oriented six blocks high, she can make dice markings appear on her body. She is very friendly and loves playing games, rolling dice, rapping, rhyming, and doing all four.
Seven/7: A Welsh-accented tower of seven blocks, each one a different color of the rainbow. He has rainbow-coloured hair. He is naturally lucky, friendly, and kind, and loves making others happy. His catchphrase is "That was lucky!".
Eight/8: Eight magenta blocks. He has eight tentacle-like limbs, similar to that of an octopus, and his eyes have eight long eyelashes (four on each eye). He is also known as "Octoblock". He is bold, heroic, and kind, and loves using all of his limbs for many things, such as tickling, climbing, running, crawling, and many others. His catchphrase is "Octoblock, (action), one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, (said action)!". Now We Are Six To Ten's The Secret Story Of Octoblock reveals that he used to be powerless until he was tickled by a radioactive octopus. He also once screamed the Wilhelm scream in "Double Trouble".
Nine/9: Nine grey blocks, each three of a different shade. He is generally oriented in a 3 × 3 square, and is best friends with Four. He is naturally calm and kind. Whenever the former is in his 3 × 3 square form, he sneezes often, temporarily losing a One in his center and becoming an Eight again for a short period of time.
Ten/10: A tower of ten white blocks with red borders, but also sometimes a solid "10 block". She wears two white red star-printed five-fingered gloves, and has a red star around both eyes. She can also turn herself into a rocket, and then blast off by counting down from 10 to 1.

Other characters
